These Acer Desktops have a Dual-Language capability. This results in slightly more complicated first-time Standard Operating Instructions, especially if you choose to downgrade your machine to Windows XP Professional operating system. Please Note:

• You must engage the first-time Dual Language OOBE process. This is standard operating procedure.
• If you ignore standard operating procedure and go straight to the Alt-F10 downgrade to XP Professional, the hidden XP Professional partition will be erased. When you try to restore to XP Professional, the computer will instead ONLY restore to Windows 7.
• If you wish to downgrade to Windows XP Professional, you MUST choose a language setting and then proceed with the complete of install Windows 7 Professional Operating System first.
• Then, simply follow the instructions provided for downgrading your New Acer Desktop PC to Windows XP Professional Operating System.
