Acer Aspire One AOA150-1546 Netbook laptop is great! Good value for the price. They recently dropped the price so it is cheaper now than when I originally ordered it 2 weeks ago. So more of a reason to buy one. I cleaned out the ''excesss'' trial software, and added my own CA antivirus program. I now Skype, connect to my Slingbox for live cable tv & camera monitoring of my baby son's crib, e-mail, surf the web, and Orb all from my netbook. I even tether it to my att 8525 phone, and am able to webcam with my wife and kids on my ride to work and then back home. WIFI works perfectly as well. Added micro bluetooth adapter for tethering to phone. Only problem i find is that netbook will freeze/lock up when it goes into standby mode. Therefore I disabled Acer Aspire One AOA150-1546 Netbook setting from XP. I have researched it on the net, but have not been able to come up with a better solution. Regardless, you will not be disappointed with this machine! I just ordered a second one for the wife. Might get a third for my 6yr old daughter. -

It is good. But the system freezes when it is on standby. You better avoid this system.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago from TigerDirect. It does not freeze during standby, the system works perfectly.

Thisis a great little computer. I searched for one of these for about 2 years until finally Acer came up with what I needed for doing field microscopy with a Bodelin Proscope. Light as a feather, I use it to read my Scientific American magazines while laying in bed. Battery lasts forever it seems, almost 5 hours. I've never run out of power. I bought mine from Tiger Direct when they first came out and paid about $100 more for it then - still a good buy. I'm thinking of buying a couple more for my children. Big hard drive, lots of USB slots, wireless ethernet (and wired), Windows XP...what's not to love. Highly recommended
