I personally own 5 laptops in diff. sizes and features..Acer Aspire One AOA150-1006 Netbook is my favorite! I never thought size of notebook matters until I hvae to carry them around with 20 pound of other stuff along Acer Aspire One AOA150-1006 Netbook one is just perfect in size....the keyboard is a bit smaller than average but ACCEPTABLE (I can still do my typing on this little laptop faster than ''writing'') the mousepad on this is horrible but I have always use exteranl cordless mouse anyway so that took care of mouse issue. the speed and power is way better than the other ''mini'' or ''sub notebook'' i tried before. My friend swear it's faster than his full sized laptop......Only real drawback is no cd/dvd player so when I need to intall other programs..i have to put it on a usb stick first...but no big deal....Let's put it this way...When I take out this laptop....people who just spend $1500 on a thin and super nice Mac laptop will come over and study my laptop and wish they buy this one instead...

Read Tiger Direct's specs, look at the images and read available reviews and you'll get just what you expected. The Acer One XP version is simply great. Yes, it's a small package, but that's why you bought it. You can plug in a keyboard and a mouse and another monitor if you need to and still hit the road with a neat small wireless package. Those USB ports make it as versatile as you need it to be. Don't forget about portable software, external CD roms, modems, sound cards and the built in SD reader/memory. Exceeded my expectations.

I picked up the Aspire One at the Hoffman Estates store after looking at all the netbooks and by far dollar to dollar it blew them all out of the water, dont get me wrong it has a few downsides, battery life and the touch pad takes some getting used too plus the fan is loud till it warms up. But it is perfect for someone on the go looking for a netbook/laptop that takes up little space and has pretty big power. I upgraded it to windows vista ultimate edition just to see how it would handle and I have to say I am impressed with it. I have run vista on about 10 diffrent pc ( one mac via parrales ) and have found it to be a very nagging experience. But I am actually pleased with vista on the one, it took me about 2 hours total instal time and about 4 days to do most all of the updates ( about 68 more to go ) but all in all it works great. There were driver issues but I found updates on the web that resolved them all. Camera is not working and fan has gotten louder with vista

i got the XP version and it is an excellent netbook. best value in every way. im giving it a 3 star for performance due to the inconsistent wifi performance (this problem is extensively reported by many owners)
