I purchased 2 of these & they both give a buzz on the audio on 2 different TV's. I also have a Magnavox TB100MW9 on the same TV's from a very large box store (located all over the USA) that does not get the buzz & the picture quality is clearer than on analog signal. AccessHD DTA-1080D Digital to Analog Converter Box Access HD is more like the analog picture. I recommended to Tiger Direct to return all them to the manufacture & pick a better product to sell. Don't waste your time calling Access HD 1-919-585-6435 or the Tiger Direct supplied phone number 1-800-939-1246. The 1st number is always busy & the 2d they don't answer - I lasted 1 hour & 15 minutes.

For a penny plus the shipping, AccessHD DTA-1080D Digital to Analog Converter Box was worth it. But I'm going to be looking for one with better quality. The picture isn't nearly as good as I used to have with analog, and I'm willing to put up with that. Plus I now have four more channels than before. But the sound is terrible, buzzy and very low volume. That alone makes it worth looking for a better unit.

I would not recomend AccessHD DTA-1080D Digital to Analog Converter Box product. Takes forever to load digital stations. It missed stations that my Magnavox TB100mw9 picked up and it had a background hum in the audio. Remember that you can not return the product at all. You only have support through AcessHD which does not include your money back even if you paid full price for the unit.
