In addition, the DWL-7100AP incorporates WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access), which has both certificate ticket verification and AES (Advanced Encryption Security) protocols available. All configuration settings are easily accessible via the Web-based interface. The Setup Wizard gets you connected to your network within minutes.

The DWL-7100AP has longer range and 2x the transmitted power (64mW) of the DWL-7000AP (32mW) I have 2 of these and am very Happy with thier performance. Much better range and signal saturation than other ''off the shelf models''.

We use five of these in a production environment and they work flawless. We never have to reboot these, they just work.

I am using 108Mbps Access Point in AP Client mode to pickup a line of sight signal 300 feet away, from a DIR-625 Router with a +7db omni antenna. I am getting about 90% signal. The only dissapointment I have had is that the Antennas are non removable.
